What I'm up to

Today, I’m doing better than yesterday. I am looking forward to finding a place to live and starting my specific job. Right now the days are full with training and busy work, especially because of the up-coming SFL National Conference and the March for Life. I expect not to sleep that weekend. But after that, my challenge is to start 10 new SFL groups this semester. Crazy! I am still in search of a permanent home, but I am constantly receiving more contacts that will help with that and my task.

Check out the rest of this email from our Executive Director for the inconceivable amount a team of 10 has to accomplish in the next few weeks!

Dear Friends,

Right now, SFL is at a critical point. Out team has been working overtime preparing for next week, the biggest week in the entire year for SFLA. We have taken on a lot of projects in an effort to educate and train as many pro-lifers as possible next weekend when many will be in Washington for the annual pro-life March.

Right now our team of only 10 people is doing the following:

-Organizing over 350 students to attend the 2nd Life Prizes Ceremony and Concert (lifeprizes.org), giving them the opportunity to network with our nation's top profile leaders and activists.

-Coordinating the largest pro-life conference in the world on Sunday, January 23rd, with over 1,700 registered attendees.

-Organizing the first-ever National Pro-life Youth Rally on January 24th, right after the annual March. We already have over 2,000 youth registered and expect at least 5,000 to attend. Go here for more info: www.nationalprolifeyouthrally.com

-Distributing over 20,000 rally signs at the pro-life March that say "I am the Pro-Life Generation." A sight that will surely scare Planned Parenthood and their allies!

-Shipping free training DVDs for 250 buses full of youth and adults coming to the March. These DVDs will help train pro-life activists in what they can do in their community to save lives when they return from Washington. This small investment will help train close to 13,000!

-Preparing to launch the first of it's kind online activism hub for the pro-life movement (more details coming soon).

-Finalizing a ground-breaking study about abortion on college campuses that will turn national press attention back to the youth pro-life movement and help us bring pressure to school administrations so they stop promoting abortion!

Thank you so much for all of your support and prayers. I hope to see many of you next week in Washington!

For Life,

Kristan
