Introduction... The Blog Bandwagon!

Looks like I just hopped onto the blog bandwagon. It must be the thing to do after graduation. I, like Marion, was also using my running log as my blog, but then only my runner friends can read it. Though most of you probably would like to hear that I did a 22 mile run on Friday and now have a strained muscle in my foot, I will try to refrain from detailed posts about how I felt and what the weather was like on my run that day. Instead, I look to offer you a glimpse into my mind.

Times are changing, life is changing, I am changing, all at a brisk pace. The brain is approaching full development (I think 25 is the age!) so now is the time to conquer the chaos that challenges me. Since graduation, I hit a state of limbo: stuck at home, not knowing my direction in life, what I want to do, where I want to be, who I want to be. Now is the time that I can direct my life in whatever path I desire. But where to start? It's a process that has to start from one small idea, one tiny notion of where I want my life to go. That is what I have spent the past four months of my life trying to figure out: who I am and who I want to be.

Readers, one thing you should know about me is that I am a quote junkie. I find quotes that relate to all components of my life, so I will frequently be posting quotes and my thoughts on them.

I, like Amy, just read Captivating. It changed my life. It inspired me and directed me along a path of faith and discovery. Here is a quote that I am currently striving to live by:

"Don't ask yourself what the world needs, instead ask yourself what makes you come alive and do that. Because what the world needs are people who come alive"
